Terms of sale

Aerovolare obligations to you:

1. The balloon ticket - or the gift voucher - entitle you to participate to a hot air balloon flight at a date to be arranged, within a 12 monthes period from purchase. The ticket is not refundable, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else provided you tel us. Hot air balloon flights depend upon the weather, so it may be necessary in some cases to postpone a flight at any time if the conditions are not safe to fly. Passengers can choose the date of flight within the current flight planning ; take-off time during the day is set by Aerovolare, in accordance with weather conditions and availability of pilots and balloons.

2. Following type of flight choosen and weather conditions, the balloon flight usually lasts 40 minutes to one hour. The pilot has ultimate responsability for deciding to take-off or to land regarding current weather situation. The choice regarding the balloon type, the number of ballons required, and the passengers repartition between the different balloons is for security reasons and weight repartition the exclusive decision of Aerovolare. 

3. Ballooning flights are depending of appropriate weather conditions. For captive flights, maximum wind velocity is 8 knots (15 km/h). If we have to postpone a flight, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible, on basis of our current flight planning. If you are unable to fly during the validity period of the ticket -or gift voucher - because you are pregnant or for any medical or other reason, we will extend the validity period. 

4. We carry legal liability insurance for our passengers up to 325.000 € per person during the course of our flights in accordance with international agreements covering air transport. We can provide further details upon request. If you do not consider that the amount of our insurance cover would be adequate to compensate you for any loss whether for death personal injury, you should take your own additionnal insurance cover. Personal belongings and equipment as movie camera, mobile phones can be insurred on special request. 

Your obligations to us:

1. Aerovolare require a full payment to confirm a reservation or to send you a balloon gift voucher.  All tickets and balloon vouchers are valid for a full one year period; after that you loose the right to fly.

2. Each passenger should wear appropriate clothing as it is advised to you in " how to dress" section of our internet site.

3. We are not qualified to express an opinion confirming that you are fit to fly or not. If you are pregnant, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or suffering from any serious medical condition, you must not fly. 

4. Before, during and after the flight, please obey to all requests and instructions issued by ours pilots or our qualified crewmembers. Smoking is not allowed on board. We wish you a pleasant and unforgettable flight in our balloons.
